PLUSHIES

THIS ARTICLE IS A WIP!

Here is the list of all FNAF plushes produced by Sanshee with tips for avoiding bootlegs. Each piece of undetermined information will be identified as such. Prices may vary depending on previous sales and therefore not be entirely accurate.

HISTORY..

Plushies are by most the most desirable pieces of merch in the fandom by far, undoubtedly perpetuated by their in-universe presence as mascot toys. This article will be more in-depth to reflect their status. Sanshee's original line-up of Plushies are to this day the most accurate plushies to come out of any official FNAF merch. They are premium plushies, not necessarily toys, so they were made with collectability in mind, not price and accessibility. Their license predates Funko's by a hair, the first piece of merchandise being the "Five Nights before Christmas" cards that released November 25th, 2014, only four months after FNAF's birth.

As for plushies, the first ever FNAF Sanshee plush was Foxy in 2015, shown below.

What some newer collectors fail to realize is that there are four current waves of Sanshee plush that go as follows:

  • First/Site: The very first iterations of the plushies spanning from 2015-2016.
  • Phatmojo revisions: The same plushies, slightly degraded in quality, manufactured in part by Phatmojo for retail sale.
  • Rereleases: The 2023(? writing at work and need to check) rereleases of the original plushies, now vastly degraded in quality.
  • And finally the Security Breach wave, the first of their kind.
  • There is often discourse whether or not a Sanshee is bootleg because of their tags that have changed quite a bit throughout these waves. This article will go in more depth below.

    FNAF Foxy Plush

Images of the original 2015 Foxy "site" Sanshee plush. He stares right at you with his sweet eye. "It is red, and very cute" -Sanshee 2015

This was the first plush Sanshee made. It originally went up for preorder May 11. This is the "site" version of the plush, available on the original website and a few varying conventions and affiliated small retailers. Unlike the Phatmojo releases, these were not at big-time retailers like Target or Hottopic. There are visual differences between this Foxy and every other release such as his fur being a dusty red and not very saturated, his snout is rounded, the insides of his ears are a dark brown, his proportions are one-to-one with his ingame design and his eye is angled just so slightly up and to the left with a quaint gaze. Site plushies tags have blue printing on them as shown above.

Interestingly, his nose can be twisted around as shown here from a tweet by Sanshee. All of the original plush releases have eyes you can spin.

    Officially released June 23rd, 2015
